The Loving Gaze

When you fall asleep before the Eucharist Jesus gazes at you. He doesn't grow bored. He doesn't begin to pick out your flaws and imperfections as someone else might. He would gaze at you, as you sit there resting peacefully, forever. He never grows tired of gazing at your face, which He finds so beautiful. In fact, He came down to earth, took on flesh and died so that one day you may rest completely at peace and He may gaze lovingly at you for all Eternity.

Sanguis Christi, Inebria Me.

He holds you close. You lean your head on His chest, your ear pressed against His heart. You can hear the blood pumping through His Sacred Heart, His Precious Blood, which He so willingly poured out for you; with which He bought you back from sin and death that you might live forever with Him in Paradise.

O Blood of Christ, intoxicate me.

O My Infinitely Lovable God

"I love You, O my God, and my only desire is to love You until the last breath of my life. I love You, O my infinitely lovable God, and I would rather die loving You, than live without loving You. I love You, Lord and the only grace I ask is to love You eternally....My God, if my tongue cannot say in every moment that I love You, I want my heart to repeat it to You as often as I draw breath."
- Saint John Vianney
